Host an ATMP Exchange Roundtable

ABOUT

ATMP Exchange Roundtables are designed to bring together action-oriented minds to engage in open, honest, and solution-driven conversations.

These sessions are mainly hosted by conference attendees; they offer a space to unpack questions and challenges usually reserved for closed-door meetings. 

These discussions are not opportunities for pitching, promoting, or posturing. They’re about learning, contributing, and growing — together.

The roundtables will take place during both days of the conference: 27th-28th November. 


STRUCTURE & SETUP

Here’s how each roundtable will work:

  • One focused topic (ideally something real, nuanced, and often left unspoken)
  • 10+ attendees
  • 40-60 minute sessions
  • Two co-hosts (ideally from different organizations or backgrounds)

Each session kicks off with a short 5-minute introduction from the hosts: what the topic is, why it matters, and the core question driving the conversation.

Then, the bulk of the time (30-45 minutes) is open discussion. Hosts act as guides — not lecturers — ensuring the dialogue is inclusive, dynamic, and grounded. The final 5 minutes are for wrapping things up with insights, reflections, or takeaways.

 

CHOOSING YOUR TOPIC

The best roundtables start with a topic you’ve been wrestling with, debating, or thinking deeply about — something real and relevant. 

Avoid overly generic or vague themes; go specific. Focus on tensions, tradeoffs, and real-world dilemmas that provoke debate and unlock insight. For example: 

  • Instead of “The future of ATMPs”, Try: “How can Sweden secure long-term ATMP manufacturing capacity post-2030?”
  • Instead of “How to help patients access ATMPs” Try: “Reimbursement readiness: What do payers really need to approve ATMPs?”
  • Instead of ”We need more collaboration!” Try: “Shared infrastructure for GMP: Can a national model work?”

EXAMPLE TOPICS

  • The shifting landscape of ATMPs and what it means for [key stakeholders]
  • Balancing [emerging ATMP] with ethics or regulation
  • Is [region or country] leading or lagging in [domain]?
  • Can ATMPs scale fast enough to matter?
  • The upside and downside of [hot buzzword/ trend]
  • Policy bottlenecks: What needs to change to accelerate [ATMP goal]?
  • Are we designing solutions that work globally — or just for privileged markets?
  • The hidden cost of [specific ATMP challenge or solution]

We’ll review submissions, provide feedback, and work with you to shape your session. If your proposal is approved, we will provide a timeslot for your session and request additional details, including short bios, photos, and LinkedIn links for the hosts.
