Symposium 2026: Interventions targeting late complications after childhood cancer

On 23 November 2026, Barncancerfonden – The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund gathers researchers and clinicians at Nordic Light Hotel in central Stockholm for its annual symposium. Its National Working Group for Toxicity and Late Complications (NAG-TSK) sets the agenda, which centres on interventions that reduce late complications after childhood cancer or improve quality of life for survivors.

Talks cover cognitive and psychosocial rehabilitation, exercise and lifestyle measures, cardiovascular health, and Swedish registry resources for late-effects research. Speakers come from Sweden, Norway, Germany, Finland and the United States. The day runs from 09:30 to 16:30 and participation is free of charge. The full agenda is available here.
