ATMP Sweden
ATMP Sweden is the national platform for the Swedish advanced therapies ecosystem, connecting academia, healthcare, industry, public sector, and patients to accelerate the development, manufacturing, and application of advanced therapy medicinal products. The annual conference is one of the largest convening events for the ATMP-field in the Nordics.
2026 Programme – From Discovery to Delivery: Advancing ATMPs to Patients
Across two days, ATMP Sweden 2026 will explore how advanced therapies move from breakthrough science to real impact for patients. with academia, healthcare, and industry represented throughout.
What to expect:
The 2026 programme will span the breadth of the field. Topics include Sweden’s and the Nordics’ place in the global ATMP landscape, the frontiers of cell and gene therapy emerging from our universities, and the regulatory pathways shaping accelerated development across the Nordics and the EU. They extend to the realities of clinical advancement, including some of the most demanding indications; the manufacturing and translation that make these therapies possible; and the funding, pricing, and policy questions that decide whether innovation reaches patients at scale. The patient voice, the networks connecting discovery to delivery, and the next generation of scientists are woven across the programme.
Speakers will include leading figures from across the field, drawn from institutions such as Karolinska Institutet, Lund University, and Uppsala University, alongside regulators, clinicians, and the industry which driving the field forward.
