Global Business Innovation Programme: Advanced Therapies Sweden

The UK invites Swedish Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) organisations and businesses to participate in targeted 1:1 meetings to share knowledge, initiate new business and find collaboration partners.

Delivered by Innovate UK, the Global Business Innovation Programme consists of a 5-day tailored visit to Sweden with the opportunity to meet and collaborate with Swedish stakeholders and experts developing ATMP. It provides a unique experience for delegates to identify international partners for technology collaboration.

UK and Sweden

In 2022, the UK and Sweden signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding on health and life sciences, highlighting ATMP as a priority. This was followed by a Strategic Partnership Agreement, signed by UK and Swedish Prime Ministers in October 2023, which re-emphasised the importance of working together in science and innovation, including in this important sector. Therefore, opportunities for UK-Swedish ATMP collaboration and partnerships are significant and well supported at a strategic level. Read more GBIP Advanced Therapies Sweden brochure
