Introducing the ATMPmap: A New Resource Delivering Insights into Sweden’s ATMP Landscape

On 12 November 2026, ATMP Sweden hosts an online webinar introducing the ATMPmap. The platform maps Sweden’s position in the global advanced therapy medicinal product landscape, and anyone can use it.

Yotam Sofer of the House of Innovation at Stockholm School of Economics built the map. It draws on more than 900,000 scientific publications across 192 countries, covering 1990 to 2024. A consortium of Swedish universities and companies commissioned the work for a VR/Vinnova Excellence Clusters application. During the session, Sofer explains how he built the map and what it reveals about Sweden. Researchers, decision-makers and healthcare professionals can all put the resource to use.
