Systems-level engineering of T-cell specificity

1 December 2026 – 2 December 2026 Online European Association for Cancer Research (EACR)

Many cancers still fail to respond to immunotherapy, and stronger immune activation brings toxicity when T-cells attack healthy tissue. This EACR virtual conference examines T-cell specificity: how T-cells distinguish self from non-self, and how that knowledge could yield T-cells that recognise tumours precisely.

Over two days, basic and translational scientists look at T-cell antigen selectivity across several scales. The organisers point to immunology, cancer biology, cell therapy, systems biology and machine learning as the relevant fields. The programme covers early-career investigators through to established groups.

The conference runs entirely online on 1 and 2 December 2026. Abstracts close on 19 October, and registration stays open until 16 November. The EACR conference page carries the programme, fees and registration.
