Workshop – Functional single-cell assays with FACS-compatible droplets

With Xdrop, single cells or cell pairs are encapsulated in FACS-compatible droplets. These tiny, gas-permeable vessels are also compatible with imaging, enabling direct visualization of cellular behavior.

The platform supports functional assays for cytotoxicity, cytokine secretion, granzyme B secretion, and antibody discovery, providing insights into immune cell function and mechanisms of cell killing.

Cells remain viable after sorting, enabling downstream applications, such as scRNA-seq and expansion.
