ATMP Sweden is gearing up to become an internationally leading actor in facilitating the implementation of ATMP:s and is now opening up for individuals and organizations to register as members. Right on time for the yearly ATMP Sweden 2023 Conference.
Following the constitutional meeting held in June to create the legal foundation of a membership association, ATMP Sweden, is now ready to kick off membership registrations.
This association is the culmination of efforts since 2017 to build and strengthen a Swedish ATMP network that profiles and lifts Swedish ATMP both Nationally and Internationally. The last year has seen concerted efforts to form a non profit organisation and the elected board, representing Swedish expertise in ATMP R&D, healthcare and industry, has now created the framework for receiving memberships.
This opening up to membership registrations is timely with the yearly gathering, ATMP Sweden 2023 Conference, this year in Uppsala the 5-6th of December at Uppsala Consert and Convention. This conference will be preceded by a Nordic ATMP gathering on the 4th of December in Uppsala for networking and discussing an agenda for future collaboration at Akademiska Hospital.

Members of the board include Agneta Edberg (BoD Idogen, Elicera, XNK Therapeutics), Jim Lund (CBDO CCRM Nordic), Dag Larsson (Senior Policy Advisor LIF), Helena Strigård (CEO and partner Haeger Carlsson), Benny Lyvén (RISE), Jukka Lausmaa (Umeå University), Kerstin Sollerbrant (The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund), Lillian Walther Jallow (CDO BOOST Pharma) and Kristina Levan (The Region of Västra Götaland).
