PRIME är ett program som lanserats av European Medicines Agency (EMA) för att stärka stödet för utveckling av läkemedel som riktar sig mot ett otillfredsställt medicinskt behov. Detta frivilliga system bygger på förbättrad interaktion och tidig dialog med utvecklare av lovande läkemedel, för att optimera utvecklingsplaner och påskynda utvärderingen så att dessa läkemedel kan nå patienter tidigare.
